Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Grief Group

We are pleased to announce a new Grief group starting in late January 2026 to support and educate people experiencing the loss of a loved one. 

The group will begin on Sunday, January 25, 2026, and will meet for 10 consecutive Sunday afternoons at 1p, concluding on March 29, 2026. 
Each week, in addition to supporting one another in our grief, we will read and discuss the questions at the end of each chapter of the book "Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy" by Mark Vroegop.

The questions are very good and will prompt us to share our grief, which should bring us all a lot of healing. Additionally, if you aren't ready to share much beyond your name and just want to come and listen, you are encouraged to do so. Healing can also come from listening to others express their grief. 

In preparation for the group, we encourage you to purchase the book, "Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy," and start reading it on your own. The best thing about the book is that the author walks through many of the key Bible passages that teach about grief/lament. This is one of those rare books that you may want to read multiple times.
